LS: Extra-Curriculars & After-School Programs

The Day School offers numerous opportunities for enrichment and enjoyment for Lower School students beyond the classroom, which in addition to providing a safe and nurturing environment, gives parents flexibility with coverage after the school day is over.

After-School Programs
Diverse offerings range from Chess Club to Mandarin Chinese, Stellar Scientists to jewelry making and yoga. Classes are offered Monday through Friday, with coverage until 4:45 (M-Th) and 4:00 (F). Registration for After-School Programs takes place during the two weeks preceding the first day of a session. The registration brochure is posted for parents on the school's website for easy download.

JCC AfterSchool Extended Day at the Day School
This long-term or drop-in program is held on-site at the Day School and is staffed by the Florence Heller JCC. AfterSchool provides coverage until 6:00pm Monday-Thursday, which is a great benefit for working parents.
