Middle School: Social Action & Service Learning
To Learn, To Value, To Do
ללמוד, להעריך, לעשות
Learning how to be active, engaged, and knowledgeable citizens of our communityand our world is a primary focus of our middle school experience. When our graduates move on to high school, we always hear that we “grow” leaders in the community. We are excited to have that recognized as it is an important part of who we are as an institution.

Nurturing the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam – repairing the world and tzedaka – charity and justice are part of our advisory mission statement. We want our students to understand that they can make a difference in the world – as an individual – right now. They do not have to wait until they are old enough!
We want our students to know they can make a difference in the world - right now!
We have made a difference by supporting many organizations and agencies in our social action/service learning work.
We believe in Margaret Mead’s statement: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
