Bilha Avni, beginning her sixth year at the Day School, was born and raised in Ra'anana, Israel. After graduating from Kibbutzim College of Education in Tel Aviv, she taught for 25 years in Israel before moving to the United States six years ago. Bilha also holds a certificate in special education from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport in Tel Aviv.
