Celebrating Israel's Independence

It was a sea of blue and white as Day School students and faculty members celebrated Israel on Yom Ha'atzmaut. Cummings was adorned with flags, there was Israeli dancing in the gym and students visited various Israeli cities at stations set up around the school (including a shuk at the Tel Aviv station). Having falafel at lunch was a treat, and thanks to our incredible Jewish studies & Hebrew faculty, the entire day was filled with fun, learning and the spirit of Israel.
