Deanna McBeath

Deanna McBeath, in her sixth year at BZAEDS, grew up in Kentucky and Costa Rica, and also has lived in Connecticut and New York City (where she taught at the Heschel School). Deanna holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a master's degree in middle school education from the Bank Street College of Education. Her master's thesis was a case study of Project Dorot, Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School's fifth-grade intergenerational service-learning program. She is a trained practicioner of Responsive Classroom and All Kinds of Minds.
