David Schwartz grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn., where his father is a cantor. During his studies at Washington University in St. Louis, he organized an interfaith Shabbat program that attracted 275 people. David holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Wash U, and joined Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in 2009.
