Emily Friend

Emily Friend is a Teach for America alumna in her ninth year teaching at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School. During her time here, she's been able to travel to Thailand and Spain to broaden her knowledge base and skills. She's also researched spider monkeys in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Emily teaches science and holds a bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois - Chicago.
