The fifth grade Shabbaton—a chance for fifth-graders to come together as a community to celebrate Shabbat—took place at the Perlstein Center at Camp Chi on Friday, December 5. Students prepared for Shabbat by making challah and participating in arts activities. During the student-led Shabbat morning service, each student read a verse from the Torah, and a Shabbat talent show featured singing, dancing, acting and comedy.
