Financial Aid

SK BoyFinancial Aid is an intregal part of the Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School's mission and vision, which states that the school is committed "to accommodating families of all economic backgrounds." The Day School's need-based financial aid program, available from junior kindergarten through eighth grade, enables the school to enroll students who might not otherwise have access to an independent and Jewish education. Any parents who feel they need financial aid assistance to afford a Day School education are encouraged to apply.

Financial Aid Application Process

The financial aid application process is separate from the application for admission, and does not influence the decision to admit a child to the Day School. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a neutral third-party organization, assists the Day School's financial aid award process by providing recommendations regarding a family's need. FACTS analyzes families' complete applications and establishes a base that enables the Day School to measure each family's need equitably.

To be considered for financial aid, families will need to complete the following steps; please read all information thoroughly. The Day School can only consider complete applications received by the deadline. Families whose applications are incomplete or come in after the deadline risk exclusion from consideration. In the case of divorced or separated parents, both parents and their current spouses, if applicable, must submit ALL required forms. The family's ability to contribute is based upon all parents' incomes and assets. All information is held in the strictest confidence.
  1. Contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid

Please remember that both FACTS and the Day School must receive your Application for Financial Aid no later than

February 1, 2010.

No official award can be made until all tax documents have been provided, and until FACTS verifies your Federal Income Tax Returns.

PLEASE NOTE:

The application processes for admissions and financial aid are separate, and thus have different deadlines. The Admissions Committee considers each applicant without knowing whether or not the applicant’s family is applying for financial aid.

APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL AID MUST BE COMPLETED BY FEBRUARY 1, 2010

BE SURE TO MAIL A COPY OF ALL APPLICATION DOCUMENTS DIRECTLY TO THE DAY SCHOOL.

Once aid is awarded, every enrolled family must reapply each year for financial aid, adhering to all deadlines and requirements.
