Financial Aid
Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School is committed to accommodating families of all economic backgrounds. The school's need-based financial aid program, available to families with students in junior kindergarten through eighth grade, enables the school to enroll students who might not otherwise have access to an independent and Jewish education.
The financial aid application process is separate from the application for admission, and does not influence the decision to admit a child to the school.
A neutral third-party organization, FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition), assists the school's financial aid award process by providing recommendations regarding a family's need. FAST analyzes families' applications and establishes a base that enables the school to measure each family's need equitably. Aid is given based on the availability of funds.
Applications for financial aid should be submitted as early as possible, but no later than February 1. All supporting documentation is due to FAST by March 1.
A signed, but not dated, IRS form 4506, due on March 15, is the only paperwork that you must submit directly to the school. (NOTE: Do not submit any payment to the IRS. Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School will pay the fee for submitting form 4506 if we elect to request a copy of your original filed tax return)
