Grandparents & Special Friends

This video clip is from our recent grandparent/special friend lunch-and-learn, at which grandparents and students explored the elements of Judaism most central to sustaining Jewish life moving forward.

Whether your grandchildren, nieces or nephews are just joining our school this fall or are set to graduate in June, you and your family will always be part of our school community. We are honored to have the privilege of teaching, coaching and mentoring your most precious assets – your family members.

We welcome you to get involved and to stay connected:

  • Subscribe to our newsletter for grandparents and special friends of Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School! Just dgale [at] bzaeds [dot] org (email Derek Gale).
  • Participate in a social action project with fellow BZAEDS grandparents or special friends and students. For more information about social action visit www.grandparentsforsocialaction.org
  • Give to the Annual Campaign to help support all the technology, arts and academic programs that benefit our students. The Annual Campaign also enables the school to enhance financial aid.
  • Do you have a particular area of expertise? rcharlip [at] bzaeds [dot] org (Volunteer) to come and speak to a class that would benefit from your knowledge. Or sign up to volunteer in the lunchroom or library.
  • Support the BZAEDS Endowment Fund to help keep the school going strong.
  • Come cheer on the Eagles at sporting events.
  • Buy a cookbook and use our recipes for your next Shabbat dinner.
  • Check back here at the website to see what's new and learn about upcoming concerts and performances, as well as holiday celebrations, sports news and special student accomplishments.

No matter how you may choose to be involved, we welcome your participation. When you stay connected, you share your ongoing pride in our school, your gratitude for the education your family members receive and an appreciation for lasting friendships made throughout the years.
