Teach them diligently demands that we think carefully about what we teach and how we teach our children. Teachers meet during the year for curriculum-based discussion, participate in Professional Learning Communities where student work is examined and discussed, and participate during the summer in professional development opportunities that improve teaching and learning at the Day School. This overview, therefore, is a work in progress, as we view it as a constantly growing guideline for what we do curricularly here at the Day School. We hope to make our thinking transparent as we plan for our students' learning.
