Melissa Steger

Melissa Steger is one of two social workers at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School. Originally from Michigan, Melissa worked with children in their families through traditional schools in Detroit as well as therapeutic school programs. Prior to arriving at BZAEDS, she also worked with high-risk foster children and their families here in Chicago. Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Michigan State University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Michigan. A licensed social worker, Melissa also has a small private practice outside of her work at BZAEDS.
