Nurit Hellmann

Nurit Hellmann is in her 11th year at the Day School. She began her career teaching high school in Jerusalem, and then spent several years as a librarian at the University of Jerusalem Law Library. Prior to arriving at the Day School, she taught at Solomon Schechter Day School in Northbrook and directed a library project at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies. Nurit holds a bachelor's degree in Jewish history and bible studies from Hebrew University, as well as two master's degrees (one in library sciences) and teaching certificate from Hebrew University.
