Rachel Ahitow

Rachel Ahitow was born in Boston and has lived in New Jersey, Minnesota, New York and Ohio. She's taught preschool, kindergarten and spent five years teaching Head Start at a Chicago Public School in the North Lawndale area. She also served for a year as that school's literacy coach. At BZAEDS, Rachel teaches junior kindergarten. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and master's degree in reading, writing and literacy.
