Rina Jacobius, in her 14th year at the Day School, was born and raised in Israel, served in the Israeli army and earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Hebrew University. She came to the United States to educate students about Israel, and prior to teaching at the Day School, she taught at other schools, including Solomon Schechter.
