Second-Graders Share Learning About Tu B'Shevat

Second-graders celebrated Tu B'Shevat (the new year of the trees) together with their families as they presented the Seeds, Soil & Song program. While in Chicago we are very much in the throes of winter, in Israel, almond trees are beginning to bloom, a sign that the growing season has begun. Second-graders shared their learning about Tu B'Shevat along with the reasons they enjoy the holiday.
