Support Services & High School Counseling
Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School provides learning services support to children who have special learning needs. Our learning services specialists work with small groups and in the classrooms to help children reach their potential. They are available for screenings and will refer families to outside specialists when needed.
In addition, each grade level in the Lower School and Middle School has a social worker who knows the students well, and is available for one-on-one, group or family support.
We also provide personalized high school placement counseling, beginning the summer prior to eighth grade, in order to ensure a successful transition for each of our students. ekeitel [at] bzaeds [dot] org (Eric Keitel), associate head of school and director of high school placement, guides each student and family through the decision-making process with a focus on the best fit. Our students have many options and opportunties for high school thanks to our strong academic program and focus on leadership and community responsibilities.
